I took inspiration from First city of Jerusalem for this cityscape. This is very closed detailed view of the cityscape. I have used used cotton threads, which are dyed in earthen shades of browns and I designed and knotted this 7'6" x 6'0" screen. I started making Macramé wall hangings and room dividers in the 1980's. I was fascinated with the process of knotting; this process involved very few knots and yet the variation using these knots was enormous. Many of these screens have been done as assignments from interior designers and architects showcasing these works in homes, restaurants and hotel lobbies.
